@b00msie I can confirm that we have already received requests from other players for Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey to have a 60 FPS boost on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. This has been forwarded on to the development team.
Hi all,
We're working to resolve the issue preventing players from accessing the Yule Festival and will be extending the event so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the winter festivities. We plan to deliver this fix in early January due to the holidays.
Thank you for your patience and apologies for the inconvenience caused.
I would like to give you an update on this issue.
The development team are actively investigating and are exploring the possibility of a hotfix before the next update.
It appears that it is only Dublin that is affected by this issue.
In the meantime, I wanted to share a workaround that has worked for some of the affected players:
As soon as the game loads press the button to view your map and fast travel to anywhere in Ireland or England. This has allowed some players to get out of the loop and continue Eivor's adventures in another region.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Please keep checking here, the known issues list and the news and announcements page for updates.
@bielik01 I am unable to confirm if this feature will be included in Assassin's Creed Valhalla in the future, however your feedback has been forwarded on.
@Borchenoso This issue has been investigated by the development team and we will be deploying a fix in TU 1.3.0. As soon as we have a confirmed release date for TU 1.3.0, we will let you all know within this thread and in the News & Announcements forum.
@adrian_banas @Smashulatius I have merged your posts with this megathread we have created for this issue. As I mentioned above this is a known issue and a fix will be deployed in TU 1.3.0.
@caosck Thanks for your feedback.
All players have different preferences, don't worry I'm confident that the Assassin's Creed Valhalla team would not make any changes to the current view, if they were to make any changes then they would most likely just add additional options.
@patrickb1973 Thanks for reporting this.
I have tried claiming the reward myself and experience the same issue, however I remembered that I already unlocked the Altair in the Godly reward pack I claimed previously. Can you confirm if you also unlocked the Godly reward pack in game?
@jupiterkog Ok I have tested the controls and can confirm that they are different from what they were in Steep. It seems they have adapted a similar style to Steep, however it's not exactly the same.
The Steep controls in Riders Republic are as follows:
Jump / Grabs - L2,R2,L1,R1
Change Sport - Up on the D-Pad then press X to select sport
Navigation & Tricks - Left analogue stick
Drift / Brake - Right analogue stick
I will forward your feedback on to the development team.
@montysalvo I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues progressing in Assassin's Creed Revelations.
Can you please try deleting the file "systemdetection.dll" that you will find in your game directory.
Default Path (Ubisoft Connect) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassin's Creed Revelations
Default Path (Steam) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Assassin's Creed Revelations
If the issue persists, can you try enabling V-Sync to see if that helps.
Hi @protostar11 I have merged your post with this existing thread with regards to a 60fps update for Assassin's Creed Origins.
I can confirm that we have forwarded this feedback on to the development team.
Hi @azullFR @wiloudolbois apologies for the late response.
I have merged all of the relevant posts that you mentioned, thanks.
@wiloudolbois I'm afraid that we have no further updates on this issue as it is still being investigated.
As soon as we have more information we will update this thread.
Hi @TheNorfolkian @trondz apologies for the late response.
I have checked for an update on this issue and I can confirm that the development team are intending to fix this with a future update, however we are unable to confirm when this will be.
Please keep checking the news and announcements forum for updates as this is where all of the patch notes are posted.
Hi @SaekoKiller apologies for the late response.
I am also sorry to hear that you are experiencing crashes during River Raids.
Could you take a look at the PC troubleshooting article and run through all the steps listed then try again. The support article contains some of the most common fixes for crashes, freezing, FPS drops and more.
Please confirm if this resolves the issue.
If it doesn't could you also answer the following:
Hi @ninkentiwawa apologies for the late response.
I am also sorry to hear that Vagn has disappeared from your game.
Could you please provide a video that demonstrates this issue.
I would recommend uploading your video to a video sharing platform such as YouTube, you can then copy the URL link into this thread.
Hi @TheeElf apologies for the late response.
As mentioned in the previous response we will post in this thread as soon as we have an update for you on this issue. The issue was is still being investigated and was not scheduled to be fixed in update 1.6.0.
I apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Hi @ELIE-3173 apologies for the late response.
I'm also sorry to hear that you are also experiencing issues with the NPC in Croindene.
I have forwarded your details on to the development team as the issue is still being investigated.
@FeliciaFinesse I'm pleased to hear that reloading the game resolved the issue for you with the NPC in Glowecestre.
Hi @Akifull021 apologies for the late response.
I am also sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues proceeding in the quest 'Cold Embers'.
If you have a previous save before you started the quest then I would recommend loading that and trying again. However, if this is not possible due to losing too much progression then could you please provide a video to demonstrate the issue.
I would recommend uploading your video to a video sharing platform such as YouTube, you can then copy the URL link into this thread.
Could you also confirm the following:
Hi @hllli_1414 I can see that this is a duplicate post. I have replied to you on another thread here.
I will now lock this thread.
@hllli_1414 thanks again for the video and for confirming when you killed Calder.
I'm sorry to see that meditating did not make Calder respawn. I have reported this issue to the development team to investigate.
Hi @pgrogers apologies for the late response.
Can you confirm if this crashing only started to occur after you installed the latest update, 1.6.0? Have you also experienced any crashes whilst in Ravensthorpe or when trying to do any of the Sigrblot festival quests or activities?
The reason I ask is because we are aware that some players are experiencing crashes since the festival, mainly in Ravensthorpe or when participating in the festival. However, we have also received other reports of crashes in random locations in the game too since the festival went live.
