We are happy to announce that the Expertise & Conflict rollback compensation containing Blue, Green and Grey materials as well as Field Recon Data, Printer Filaments, SHD Calibration and Exotic materials is on the way!
We have calculated precisely how many item upgrades each agent lost and are compensating accordingly by granting 1 cache for every 20 levels lost. These caches contain everything you need to level one item up to 20. This number is also rounded up so if you lost 25 levels, we grant you two caches.
To ensure everyone have space for the materials, we have permanently raised the caps on:
This was done for this Expertise & Conflict compensation rollout specifically, but you can expect an increase of the cap for all the crafting and optimisation materials in the future as part of our mission to implement continuing quality of life improvements.
The material caches will be delivered to your inboxes today Thursday, June 9th.
Please bear in mind that if the inbox limit is exceeded, additional caches will be put in a queue and will be added to your inbox when there is space.
WARNING: Even though we are raising the cap do not attempt to open all caches simultaneously — once you hit the cap the excess materials will be lost. Instead, we would recommend you open a couple at a time then spend your materials, as you will reach the cap fast.

Today, we have the pleasure of introducing you to our new season for The Division 2, "Hidden Alliance" which goes live on May 12th at about 12:30 CEST following the maintenance.
In "Hidden Alliance", the team is honing the manhunt structure like a knife's edge to provide an episodic narrative within The Division. Instead of exploring all 12+ districts of Washington, the focus will be shifting to a much smaller area giving us the opportunity to provide more contained, concentrated stories, and to avoid repetition from season to season.
We believe that the core message and plot of The Division should not be locked behind the interconnected stories of numerous collectibles. Hidden Alliance opens with a cinematic flashback showing the immediate consequences that followed the confrontation with Faye Lau at Camp White Oak. The story picks up immediately from this point as Kelso, Benitez, and Rhodes all cope with what has happened.
This moment acts as a catalyst for The Division going forward. The addition of cinematic language will make the stakes and motivation crystal clear and moved out of the darkness. We are taking this new approach, to show the changing motivations and feelings of our core characters.
In order to give players a safe space to dive into our story, these main story collectibles will now be delivered to the player by meeting with Kelso at the Base of operations when a manhunt target has been eliminated. This focused delivery will help players avoid missing critical story details.
The Hidden Alliance manhunt focuses on a new gallery of high-profile enemies, but this time they are not Rogues. Instead, we will see the evolution of the True Sons following the death of Antwon Ridgeway. A new charismatic leader rises within the "True Sons" ranks, and they are moving their operation nationwide. Meanwhile, a new leader, known as Captain Lewis, will descend upon Washington D.C with a mission of his own.
The new lieutenants and the prime target himself range from monstrous to sympathetic. The ideology and tactics of the True Sons have changed, which in turn starts to alienate some of their most zealous members, while attracting a new wave of cruel opportunists with an eye to join an oppressive army of the powerful.
The internal struggles of this new generation of True Sons will shine a light on the complexities of the world in turmoil and provide the first glance at a new threat rising to prominence.
The Hidden Alliance also sees the premiere of a new kind of content. This system is our first iteration at providing a great deal more flexibility and variety to our future content.
The manhunt lieutenants will each take over a main mission from the D.C. Campaign. These mission takeovers will become more common in future sessions as we expand the capabilities of the system. For now, it gives us the opportunity to repopulate missions with the True Sons, who have taken over the location for their own purposes.
That is all for now! We hope you are looking forward to the feature improvements we are currently making to our seasons and story delivery systems.
If you haven't already, follow us on our Twitter, and Discord to keep up to date with the latest news and communications from the Team!
Thank you for your continued support, Agents!

Season 9 continues The Division narrative and Agents will be faced with a new target in Captain Lewis.
With Captain Lewis’ manhunt, you’ll have to take down 4 new targets: Major Castillo, Lieutenant Chang, Sergeant Daniels and Major Xander.
We are introducing a brand-new progression feature, Expertise. This is a new way for agents to further improve the maximum performance of select weapons, gear sets, skill variants and more.

Countdown is a new 8-player endgame mode for The Division 2. Two groups of four SHD agents are deployed into a power plant to prevent a lockdown. Racing against the clock, the agents must work together to secure the site and stabilize the power plant. Believing their mission is complete the agents prepare for extraction and are pursued by heavily armed and technologically advanced hostiles.
With TU15 comes a booster shot of powerful new items to add to your collection or arsenal. All told, TU15 will be adding 3 new Exotics, 1 new Gear Set, 1 new gear brand, 2 new weapons for a total of 4 new named items.
Named Gear:
Exotic Weapons
Named Weapons:
Adjustments have been made to the functioning of various talents in order to curtail undesirable behaviours and imbalance.
Overview
Modifications to shield skill behaviours
Excluded shields from the In-Sync Talent
Updated Intimidate and Perfect Intimidate Talents
Design Notes
Shield skills have been unbalanced for quite some time and have grown to be a dominant build tactic in both PvE and PvP. Combined with In-Sync, shields provide an unparalleled, no-downsides DPS boost.
In addition, Intimidate when combined with various methods of gaining short-term bonus armour. This made it deeply unfair in ambush situations in PvP and led to an undesirable PvE meta as well. As such, Intimidate now requires a slow build-up before reaching maximum effectiveness.
Gameplay Adjustments
The optional Season Pass is available for 1000 Premium Credits ($10 or your regional equivalent) in the in-game store, granting additional cosmetics and opportunities for season gear as you progress.
Fairview Apparel Event
The Fairview Apparel Event will feature 27 new apparel items to gather, collect, and use to deck out your agent, starting on May 24th. This event is open to all Warlords of New York owners who have completed the New York campaign. Rewards and progress are automatically enabled at the start of the event.
Street Activation Event
The Street Activation Apparel Event will feature 27 new apparel items to gather, collect, and use to deck out your agent, starting on July 5th.
