How can you mark this thread as resolved when the game is still randomly crashing with TDR's.
And yes I've been in touch support and sent many Dxdiag and msinfo files. Been on the merry go round a few times until they get to the end of the fix it script and then start again.
@ubi-mark
I just crashed again while the game was at the menu, it was a TDR.
Once again sent DXdiag and MSinfo files to support and did a live chat, which I've done before and is a complete waste of time. You're expected jump through all the scripted hoops in the hope that something might fix it which obviously it doesn't.
My PC is a new build, drivers and windows etc are up to date and it was crashing on my old PC aswell.
I see they've acknowledged a problem with the Russian language version and supposedly put a hot fix out, so how about a bit of reasurance for the rest of us and tell us what's really going on other then making it seem like it's got to be our PC's
Is Ubisoft looking in to it?
Can we expect a resolution?
Or should we just steer clear of buying any future Ubisoft games?
I've spent months chatting with Ubisoft support and tried most of their scripted replies with no resolution to the TDR crashes.
Me and a friend also experienced TDRs in BOCW aswell and between us have found what almost seems a cure for them, not stopped them completely but over the last 10 days after implenting the below I've only experienced one TDR in Valhalla where as it use to crash at least once whenever I played it, this also applies to BOCW.
Can't say for sure if any of the below is the reason for less TDR's but it certainly seems likely, I'm thinking of turning Hibernate back on sometime to see if the TDR's return regularly but quite frankly have got a bit fed up with trying different things I might just leave it how it is for now.
Turn Hibernate off
powercfg.exe /hibernate off (This is a Command prompt command)
Control Panel Power Options, power plan
Turn off hard disk = 0 minutes (Control Panel Power Options, change what ever plan you are using)
PCI Express>Link State Power Management = off
Disk clean-up
Clear DirectX shader cache (Type in Disk Clean into the Cortana search bar and follow the prompts)
Amd Driver
Reset Shaders (Not sure if Nvidia have this option)
GPU driver 21.7.1 (Was the latest driver at the time)

@tyranusvader
I've just had the 1.2.2.1 update on the PC and now cannot call the raven via controller or keyboard?
I've checked the XBox 360 controller is working ok and as I can't call it on the keboard using V it looks like they've screwed something up.
Not sure if it's cured the crashes or not.

Game still randomly crashes with a TDR, this PC is a new build i9 10850k, 16gb ram, 2 xm.2 drives, Rx 5700 xt, it also randomly crashed on my old system.
I've sent DXdiag and Msinfo files before and quite honestly don't see the point of sending these as they only show how the PC is setup and contain no error information, it would be more usefull to see the Event Viewer log.
BTW I dont use the Feast Buff!
Same here, not as often as you though. It's crashed 3 times in as many hours.
Had a live chat with support, everything they suggested I had already done and they more or less cut me off declaring that my amd gpu driver were not up to date despite them being the latest Adrenalin 2020 Edition 21.3.1 Recommended (WHQL) the nex driver 21.3.2 is optional and not (WHQL) certified.
