I can't buy into a game who doesn't SAVE appropriately and end up losing the mission too in loading of the SAVE. I put up with that in some games but not this one. DELETING this game that has cost me hours of loads and reloads and reinstalls.
Goodbye Watchdogs. Those who enjoy that's great for you!
I'm finding it engaging, fun, and when I can't 'finish' a mission, I bring up a previous 'save' and wait try again as I get better. There's a lot to do. There is some redundancy yet there is a lot of differences in geography. It's taken awhile to figure things out, but, I'm getting there. The look is different than I expected but the story is strong and the setting matches it. I like that I can get around getting something done by trying something later on (i.e. how to take down anti-aircraft in islands in the south). Those who are better at plaing games than I are going to want the hardest difficulty right at the bat.
I tried a gurella mission to get another 'leader' around prehistoric park and can't win at it so went to previous save. So it has things to try and fail at and hopefully build to get it. One was meeting a Tigre on top of a mountain ... I just got into my little chopper and parachuted in vs. trying to go up with vines, boards, and etc. I had to wait till I took out anti-aircraft of course. I could also actually fly a plane this time.
I have found youtube valuable for time saving when I want it. Amazed how some of you figure these things out. NO MANDATED kidnapping mission that you shoot your way out of over and over and over and over and over and over ... at least not so far. Whew....
@spier1991 I think this is a very good game too! I completed Cyberpunk 2077 after 100 hours and Valhalla is many many notches better than Cyberpunk 2077. The AC open world is better than a lot of games out there.
@maulscarreign At this point, Odyssey was the peak, and Odyssey (Origins is good too) is excellent. Agree with your thoughts and the clunky issues.
What I've read in your critiques are true. Why couldn't this be as good as their last game -- Odyssey?!?
Ubisoft don't go backwards!
This still is significantly better than Cyberpunk 2077 including graphically.
@yazx_ This is a very good game! I played Cyberpunk 2077 day 1, played 100 hours and completed. This game, Valhalla, is significantly better in every regard. Better graphics, better AI, better everything -- significantly so.
@adarklore Once or twice I killed one by accident. But others you have to follow the story and you have to gather the clues. It won't go further and you can't find them.
PC, can't even download a game to play. Note: I played few days ago, problems with crash on start, tired of sending 'crash report' before even seeing a menu. Deleted game. Logged out of Ubisoft. Came back into Ubisoft and now can't download a game i.e. Watchdogs Legion
See photo
Anyone know what is going on? PC is crashing on startup after about 2 minutes calling up the game. I don't even get to a menu screen.
After Red Dead Redemption 2 fishing and now this ... you actually HATE fishing. Upgrade using all your gun powders and etc. and the line snaps constantly. What an aggravating throw the fishing garbage thing --- away. Cast it far away!
Anyone else feel this way too?
I'd be willing to pay for a manual from Ubisoft on Anno 1800. I even looked if Amazon had one for sale? Nothing. I have watched youtubes and though they are interesting and fine and dandy .... when it comes to basic needs like pc keys to use and etc and what buildings needs farmers, which ones need workers, and if I build a clay pit how many of what do I need to build? If I build potato farm I assume it needs a number of farmers? How many? If something else I assume it wants workers? How many if I build whatever? So, It would greatly benefit the game for me if I know basic expectations of what is required to build if I build such and such. If you know the link(s) for this it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! If someone sells this info please let me know? Thanks (in advance).

@donl1978 I tried the links pasting them into my url and pages are not found!
@slumpdiggty I'm thinking perhaps I will buy this than? I have to decide if I want to watch (again) youtube videos that much though.
Thanks.
@kalnon06 Asking the same still why my $$ went to zero in short time when I tried this game out with Ubisoft +. Even though great sale today Black Friday -- I think I'll pass.
@a_dehar I was wondering the status of the game today -- Black Friday sale. I am concerned about the total lack of support. No manual for the game on PC. That I have to watch youtube and even that doesn't quite help. I have 35k in funds and watched it drained in months to zero when I had Ubisoft + to try it out. After that I said forget this.
So it's not any better "for the rest of us...."
Thanks for honesty!
Any suggestions as to why I should or perhaps should not buying this game now? I am concerned of playing for awhile than losing all my $$ because of something wrong in my development and having the game bomb on me. I had that happen to me when I had subscription. I had 35K and watched it go right down the tubes.
If I get this I can't run out of $$ again so forget it? Or has something changed in this game?
@georgemonero Fishing stinks. Cast that far far away! Can't even catch 3 fish without constant line snaps and etc after spending precious materials to do it. What garbage. I actually HATE fishing. The same can be said with Red Dead Redemption 2 -- stinks!
There is alot of redudancy.
Pros: Open world, good story though not really original in that it's 'stereotypical'. Some fun things to do and does have it's ridiculous Far Cry disgustingly overtly awful elements that are considered 'challenge' oriented, but, they really stink is all.
All in all I'd recommend this but it's filling in time ... I'm playing this without nothing else out there -- waiting for a new release coming in November.
