@dead-lee_g The top image is of a True Sons Grenadier. Given their extensive use of the 308-1 Napalm grenade, they requested a high speed alternative to military approved protective eyewear. DuPont and Revlon coordinated preapocalypse to produce the NBEs (Nomex Bristle Eyelashes), surgically implanted to the eyelids. Note the partial melting in the image.
They can be yours, too, for nine point nine easy payments of $99.99. I can put them on for you. Bring a needle and some Nomex thread.
@zenasil
A little early to be sharpening your pitchfork and wrapping your torch... the season doesn't end for another two plus weeks.
They reran the seasons to buy them time to generate new content, not to amend the established narrative... I'm curious how you deduced that a rerun would be any different? Don't bother replying to that; it will benefit no one.
Personally, I don't follow the narrative. It's an undercooked pretext for point-and-clicking. Putting it back on the pan for ten seconds isn't going to make it any more palatable. I'm still awaiting the new apparel event(s) we were told we'd be getting during the reruns. That should have been the least costly content to generate.
TL;DR - Reserve judgment until AFTER the update release.
this game is hooked into a life support machine and unless that machine alarm goes off because some PVE player starts using a glitch to net a few more useless ponts or kill npc´s a bit faster , no one will come to check on the patient and machine will keep working as usual ... BEEEP , ... ,BEEEP , ... ,BEEEP , ... ,BEEEP , ... ,BEEEP , ...
There is exactly no one currently working on this game, as I mentioned earlier in other threads, regarding significant internal dysfunction. Claims to the contrary are distractionary damage control attempting to maintain the illusion, by individuals whose purview does not make them privy to the actual goings-on.
Proof is in the stagnation.
As Nem mentioned before, the current best-case scenario is the completion and release of the intended and indefinitely postponed 'February' Title Update. Beyond that, I can virtually guarantee that any suggestions and feedback added to this forum daily are tantamount to feckless rumination.
In your case, Apex, I would operate under the presumption that no remedial measures will take place. The game is brought to you by artists, lacking both the technical expertise (esp. security) to combat cheating, and the initiative to hire those respective professionals.
@battlemaster23 @spla5hdmg @rage_therapy Interesting. I would agree with you, then, that what you guys are experiencing is a separate problem, requiring a separate remedy. Splash, in that case, I wouldn't recommend uninstalling Feature Update version 21H1. It may make your game even more unstable and prone to the hangs that the Windows update caused on my and a number of my clanmates' systems, in addition to those that you're currently experiencing.
@n3mb0t Yeah, Nem. I'm fully aware of the target lock feature, which BTW, doesn't always properly register because of dogshlt netcode. Half the time I have to deconstruct the mortar because of key registry failures, and I end up throwing the mortar into some armpit instead of atop the cover I'm against.
No. What I'm describing is an entirely new bug that surfaced recently, and I've corroborated with other clanmates. So, for example, you acquire a target on the left and fire. Then you acquire a target on the right and fire, and it snaps back and fires to the previously fired target on the left. You then fire at a target at front, and it snaps back and fires at the secondary selected target on the right. Hence, 'back-cycling', because it's chronically processing the previous [variating] target. In contradistinction, the target lock feature, when set, sends all remaining rounds to the same point.
@zebedee_73 Save yourself some aggravation. Run The Summit. I have an uncanny tendency to spawn rogues on the first elevator exiting after porting there. The same applies to hunters. Both rogues and hunters spawn at a strength of (x+1; where x is your group size). Moreover, you are NOT required to be the one landing the kill shot(s) for the kill(s) to register for you to that end.
@n3mb0t This is why you should always carry bible science resistance mods.
@n-o-u-s Fundamentally, Skill Tier is to Skill Damage what Critical Hit Chance is to Critical Hit Damage. If you have 200% CHD, but 0% CHC, then you have zero chance of having bonus damage applied, and the 200% is a wasted investment, ceteris paribus. This is why all critical hit builds first focus on maximizing (60%) chance, and then damage; so as to maximize occurrence of invested bonus damage. This may appear to be an extreme example to demonstrate a point, but we had exactly this scenario before us with one individual, and after our explanation, they retorted, "But I have 200% CHD!".
Although not as definitive as the above example, Skill Tier is basal skill power; damage for lethal skills (ie. mortar turret, assault turret, striker drone, oxidizer/corrosive chem launcher, etc.), and distraction efficacy ("status effects") for non-/less-lethal skills/devices (ie. blinder firefly, foam chem launcher, EMP, shock traps, decoy, etc.).
WRT hybridization, the ultimate intent of this topic, it is best suited for survivability under some permutation of lower difficulties and individualistic gameplay. When the game shifted over to an arcade-style extreme bullet-sponge fest, it quickly became apparent that a jack-of-all-trades-but-master-of-none approach was ineffectual and directly responsible for teammate casualties on the highest difficulties (raids, legendaries). Consequently, builds shifted towards an all-in approach, and specialists were tasked respectively under coordinated team play.
@gamer8840 Compare the names...
Professional?
Gnarly initiated use of the word. I wouldn't focus heavily on it. It could have been a misspeak or regional translation, stressing a player's degree of focus and capability. Moreover, then we'd have to clarify which of the potentially disparate definitions of the term we're referring to; the economic one as an individual receiving compensation (esp. monetary) for services rendered, or the more colloquial stressing capability.
Just behave like a normal human being and be a good teamplayer, that's it!
Wishful thinking, especially in open PUGing. The DSM-V is a thousand pages of why your statement isn't as realistic as one would like to think. The difference is that in real life there is assessment and selection, whereas gaming is inclusive of anyone with a wallet, and thereby inclusive of those, "behaving like [ab]normal human beings and being good [egocentric fksticks]", as per the topic of this thread.
@suspiciouspixel
so 196k lvl playtime 2000h lets do some math
196k divided by 2000 hours is 96 lvl in 60 min , 96 by 60 = 1 SHD lvl 1.66 min .
There must be a language barrier at play here. That's twice now that you've misinterpreted respondents' posts as counterargumentative.
First, Viking_Jarl's post addresses cheat proliferation on PCs, and not purported legitimacy.
Second, SuspiciousPixel's post clearly corroborates 196K SHD as a product of cheating, while claiming 80K SHD as potentially legit, because he knows of one individual -- with expensive psychiatric therapy ahead of them -- who is.
BTW, I already did the math, and yours has both calculation and variable transpostion errors:
196000 / 2000 = 98 SHD per hour, or my already stated 75.46M XP per hour.
If you unnecessarily break that down to minutes, then 98 / 60 = 1.633 SHD per minute.
@oatiecrumble atlleast you got kicked for a reason
Players getting kicked by the group leader for no reason whilst at extraction should be a punishable offence. There is no reason why this should happen when the game has features such as:
1) Vote Kick
2) No Kick enabled at end encounter/boss
Ubisoft Bucharest didn't think this through
I had exactly this happen to me yesterday. We signaled for extraction, and I immediately observed players began despawning from the LZ. I was the fourth -- receiving the kick notification -- there may have been more.
Obvious personality disorder.
@mkim31
You missed the point entirely. What the account holder 'should' do is civilization a favor by ceasing to exist.
@mystiq_hawk (196000 x 770000) / 2000 = 75460000.
That's only 75.46M XP per hour. Seems legit to me.
