First of all, I would like to say that IMHO the Ubisoft's initiative to bring the NFTs to the AAA games is huge, and it will change the game space forever. I am looking forward to it.
However, I think Ubisoft could have managed that better. You gave 2000 NFTs for a community that has millions of players. I had classes from 11:30 to 12:20. What should I do? Skip it to have a chance to click on the "claim" button when it becomes available sharp at noon?
This "first come, first serviced" model has a massive problem in the NFT space. Let me tell you a short story. One day I woke up at 5:00 am to buy a Sharks NFT at Binance, and it sold out in less than 0.01 seconds because a BOT bought all 10,000 NFTs. After 5 minutes, the new "owner" was selling them for $500, and the original price was $30.
I think Ubisoft does not want that, and that makes sense. That's why there are some requisites like "play the game until level 5" and so on. But the "first come, first serviced" problem remains. Not all people live in the same time zone and or have the same time availability to click on the claim button at the right time.
So, humbly, I would suggest you think about changing this approach. Maybe you can put in a "whitelist" for everyone who claimed it in a 24-hours window and makes a draw after.
I know many fans are mad about this NFT story; I understand them and respect their idea, but I would like to see Ubisoft also focused on people looking forward to NFTs.
Thank you for your time.
