@ubi-gizmo Windows 10 is up to date, restarting the router did not help. Pinging the address on the screenshot in the linked article reported no packet loss (though that does not say much about me being able to reach the game servers or not, I guess). Trace on the other hand had a few 'Request timed out.' lines. I'm not sure if that indicates any problem as the sample screenshot had one as well. The strange thing is that the game worked one minute and started displaying the error message the next, in the same session, with no installation or settings change happening.
Here is a screenshot of the error code:
Hi!
Since yesterday I get the error in the title every time I try to play on any of the maps, either coop or solo. Yesterday I could finish 2 matches with a friend before the error started popping up (when trying to start a 3rd, in the same session). Verifying the files in Ubisoft Connect did not help.
@ubi-thrupney The bug still exists.
@ubi-theberry Several crashes later I managed to finish the last to anomalies as well. I would rather not spend any more time on this issue than I already have.
@ubi-froggard Seems like it was too early to celebrate, the Thornburg Henges anomaly also crashed After a few unsuccessful attempts I decided to try the other puzzles and finished two of them without any problems. Then the Needles at the Isle of Wiht froze almost immediately, then near the rotatable prism at the end on the 2nd try. Should I reopen the ticket to continue the troubleshooting or create a new one?
To make things worse, I have to sit through the unskippable intro videos, the 'checking for add-ons' part (that won't even start without me pressing a button), and do the whole anomaly from scratch each time. Not exactly user friendly process. Other console ports doing the same doesn't make it any more acceptable.
For anyone encountering this bug: I had to go through a long list of troubleshooting steps provided by the support team, but after reinstalling the MS Visual C++ Redistributable packages I was finally able to solve the puzzle without crashing.
@ubi-viral Hi! My case number is 15534320
When I try to solve the puzzle, my PC freezes completely when standing on the right side column with a reflector on it after lighting up the unstable structures (somewhere around 3:46 '>
I verified the files of the game, updated my GPU drivers after encountering this kind of bug the first time in the Seven Sisters anomaly (see 52:30 ). I guess it's where the dialogue should start.'>
System specs:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (version: 21H1, build: 19043.1288)
16GB RAM
i5 6600K
Radeon VII
the OS and game are installed on SSDs
for the exact location). I could get past that one after 5-6 tries somehow, but this one just keeps freezing. Setting the graphics to the lowest possible didn't help either. I have an Asus Xonar DGX card if it's an audio related issue.
