@virtual-chris Hopefully they don't patch this mod and make it useless. I'm enjoying the mod as well. The game feels more responsive and gun fights seem to be balanced.
@spideysoham1212 We've all asked countless times to incorporate all the various takedowns. I agree with you. The game has some amazing animations that never get used due to the conditions required for that takedown to be triggered. Rarely do you see off-trail or just scattered throughout the wilderness. You may catch a few stragglers but usually, those soldiers are either repairing something or have a small camp setup.
I believe what OP means by Militaristic is if you're in a heavily armed base and trying to role-play realistic stealth you would resort to using more takedowns instead of shooting a suppressed weapon. IRL, if you were to fire a suppressed weapon it would still alert patrolling soldiers nearby. Although, in this game, even on extreme the AI is deaf and can't hear suppressor even standing next to another soldier getting gunned down. That is my assumption.
@newfool7 Guess they want to get rid of the evidence of people demanding offline mode. Isn't it ironic they're giving the old forum an offline mode ? This is the message on the old forum, "Greetings! The Ubisoft Forums will be going offline as of March 31. Please join us on our new platform here."

No matter what settings I use in DX12 the game runs at 4 fps. The game runs so poorly that it is hard to even change settings in the menu. Yes, the game is running at 4 FPS in the menu.
@killorio I said the same thing. I guess only a few will be able to get that helmet, that's if they're even supporting the NFT movement. I honestly, only wanted the helmet I really don't care for NFT but since it was free I said, "To hell, with it, I'll do it just for the cosmetics." However, seeing that there are certain requirements needed in order to acquire said cosmetic is preposterous. I've been playing this game since launch and I've only managed to put in 468 hours and that is a lot considering the mess most players had to endure.
@hdwc_ Breakpoint animations were slower and more realistic but a lot of people complained, therefore, the devs introduced an update that changed up a lot of animations and speed up the keyframes of some animations resulting in faster movements at the cost of realism.
@wapeddell I can't believe the forum moderator marked o f f l i n e mode as spam, jesus.
I experience rubberband lag often. Rubber band lag is lag that teleports back to your previous position after traversing some where else. In a lot of instances I can be in action of retreating from the enemy and get flung back into the enemy line of fire. Does this happen to anyone else?

Since the forum marked my post as Spam here it is in a different form.
@eagle-eyezx Great video. All we can do is hope and pray.
@lonespymaster I guess this will have to suffice as the game will no longer receive updates or new content.
@wickedbadz I'm using a 1000 watt PSU Gold.

@mars388502 The best opinion I can come up with for using a Knife is if you're out of ammo and need to reload and you're already engaging in a fight that is your last option for self-defense. There have been instances where I was clearing an area and I ran out of Handgun ammo and it is quicker to use the knife than switch to the next weapon. If slings were a thing in this game and properly implemented then switching to another weapon wouldn't be as difficult as going through the animation of reaching to your back and aiming the weapon in front of you. The amount of time it takes to do that on extreme difficulty can quickly be punished by the soldiers with Shotguns.
There was an old thread where people were discussing that hand to hand or using melee or just fighting, in general, can be extremely loud. I do agree depending on the surroundings, melee combat isn't as silent as most think. However, it also depends on your approach, if you were to stab someone from behind on top of their skull and didn't let the victim's body drop by catching their body before hitting the floor then that may reduce sound. Most games do not put this much detail into gameplay. When this game initially launched it wasn't tailored to hardcore fans. In contrast, this game was released to appeal to a broad audience, however, the only people that stuck around were the true fans and most of the Fortnite kiddies do like they always do and jump on the next hype train. The way the game was marketed had a more serious tone but the suits made a decision at the last minute to dumb down the gameplay.
