@starlancepanthr Much appreciated. Your explicit instructions worked perfectly.
Unfortunately, that's a half hour of my life that I won't get back. Getting rid of the exclamation marks for apparel was relatively efficient since all apparel of a given type was on a single page for which you could move your mouse over quickly to reset. However, with weapons, you had to inspect every one individually and open the appearance page to clear each skin assigned to a given weapon. I believe I have every weapon available in the game, which totals dozens and dozens and had to wipe the markers for every skin for each weapon. That was not efficient.
I was having a hard time unlocking this ability which requires 50 instances of petting Chorizo to gain health. When in battle, Chorizo is constantly running around after enemies and usually won't respond to the petting command before your health restores on its own. A simple workaround is to fast travel to a Guerilla Hideout with Chorizo. Throw a grenade in front of you to knock down your health, and since there are no enemies to distract Chorizo, he will respond to your petting command. Because you are at a safe house, you have infinite grenades since they get restocked with every throw. Takes about 10 minutes to unlock this ability.
Gaining recruits is not hard, but can be a bit time consuming if you do a lot of Los Banditos Operations. If you want to quickly build up a recruit army for these operations, head to the Savanah Fields in Sierra Perdida. This is a large tobacco plantation consisting of a dozen or so individual fields. Most of these fields are being worked by a prisoner, closely gaurded by a soldado. Kill the soldado, and the prisoner is automatically set free adding 5 recruits to your army. You may have to approach the prisoner after being set free for the recruits to unlock, but in most cases, they will be released from a distance. You can then move to another field to rinse and repeat.
The best part is that new soldados and prisoners spawn after almost every kill so there is an infinite supply. Just head towards the nearest glowing red enemy marker on your mini map which is almost always another soldado and prisoner pair. I timed it, and gathering 100 recruits took just under 5 minutes. Make sure to stay away from the southwest corner of the Savanah Fields because it is a mongoose hunting ground and they will attack in swarms.
@avicii-satish I have the same issue and it appears to be related to video card memory as I eventually get warnings on low video memory some time after the lagging starts. The problem appears similar to a memory leak with vram usage increasing over time.
My card is a 2080ti with 11GB of vram that worked fine until the recent update. Until then, I was successfully playing this game in 4K resolution with the HD texture pack which is now unplayable. I've subsequently downgraded the video settings by changing from ultra to high settings, disabling the HD texture pack and disabling v-sync. It's playable again, but still shows vram usage exceeding 10GB at times.
Also works with any of the bows using EMP arrows. It was the only way I could collect the 1968 Garin Vorona CT helicopter since I never found one spawned on the ground. If you're looking to collect that model, generate enough heat so that a Garnin Vorona helicopter is sent after you, use your phone to confirm it is the CT model, and then take it down with an EMP weapon.

Found a better solution on Youtube here:
@ampee1 I don't understand what you mean by insurgency weapons since I'm not aware of being rewarded with weapons in any of the insurgencies. Do you mean the new weapons that unlock weekly in the Black Market at the same time the weekly insurgency unlocks? If you purchase those weapons, they do carry into a new game.
I'm now far enough into a second playthrough that I believe I understand how these black market resources are shared. All black market purchases (weapons, attire, charms) and all moneda is assigned to the player and not the game. If you start a new game in a new save slot while keeping your old save, you get access to all of the black market purchases from the old game. Not only that, but any new black market purchases in your new game show up in your old game as well as does any moneda you earn in your new game. By the same token, if you spend moneda in your new game, the new reduced moneda total is reflected in your old game as well.
Personally, I would prefer a true new game plus mode, but in absence of that, this is better than nothing.
I have a dead drop key from the last insurgency so when I start the Malagua Spec Op, I get the message that Lola has marked the location of the dead drop on my map. However, when I get to the dead drop zone, it is not active as nothing shows on the mini-map and the drop box does not spawn even though a blue painted icon for its location can be found on a ruined building. As I move forward towards Malagua, the drop zone spawns and is shown on the mini map. However if I try to go there, I get the message that I am leaving the game zone and the mission will fail if I don't return to Malagua. I've tried to get to the drop box before that happens, but it is impossible since you run out of time as soon as you enter the zone. If you continue into Malagua and retrieve the PG-240X, once you leave the town, the drop zone is once again vanished and the drop box is not present. Can anyone else confirm this or am I missing something?
@omnimon I posted this bug into the support forum to get the attention of the developers. I'm not holding my breath that it will get fixed. I am on my second playthrough and discovered that the bug appears to be triggered by not completing the switch puzzle inside the building to close the sluice gates prior to looting the key. I had previously opened the building by shooting out the padlocks, but because I did not do the puzzle, the building became sealed when returning some time after completing the treasure hunt.

There is a Hidden History Collectable inside the Control Room of Santos Espinoza Dam in La Joya. This becomes impossible to access if you complete the Long Drop Treasure Hunt without going into the control room and completing the switch puzzle to lower the sluice gates. Apparently the developer intended for that method to be used to access a body on the spillway that holds the key to the loot building. The problem is that this action is not required to complete the treasure hunt and the hint triggering the hunt makes no mention that you need to do this. Instead, you can just rappel down to the body from a grapple point to loot the key directly with the water running through the sluice gate. If you leave after completing the hunt and later return, the control room will be completely sealed with no way to enter as shown below. The room is normally unlocked by shooting a padlock from an exterior window. As shown below, if you don't open the sluice gates before completing the treasure hunt, the padlocks disappear and cannot be destroyed to open the room. Please add this to the bug list as it is impossible to 100% complete the game with this bug.
@draconis_magum Air drop from Cardoso Mill once you have unlocked it as a fast travel site. Then wingsuit to the McKay Global Drill Site B where blue arrow is shown. The blue arrow is at a truck spawn site. Keep air dropping until the McKay truck spawns. It may take a number of tries, but it worked for me after I completed the main game. Doesn't appear to work early in the game.

I'm on my second playthrough and this time I'm doing all of the grindy bits first and leaving for the end almost all operations and FND base liberations. I did enough operations to establish all three guerrilla camps and construct all camp facilities, particularly guerrilla hideouts for their fast travel and ammo restock features.
My intent is to have the following in place before getting back to the main story and base liberations:
1-6 is complete for me and I'm working on the collectable notes as the last step. After that, I'll make a copy of the local save game so I can use it as my own new game plus as often as I like.
@kormac67 Thanks for the reply. I'm on my second playthrough, and like you, amassed thousands of circuits on my first round through Bandito operations long after I needed them. The problem is that, in early stages of the game, Bandito operations do not reward circuits. I currently have just one leader (Surveyor) because the Yaran missions to acquire new leaders have yet to pop after completing numerous other Yaran missions. Circuits are never offered as the reward in singular mission that I can undertake at a time. Therefore, I cannot upgrade my weapons, which is a real pain.
I was wrong in my initial post to this thread in that I have subsequently confirmed, like you said, that the circuits on the oil platform are not the same as the industrial circuits I'm looking for. These new circuits show up as their own inventory item under "Logistics." I have no idea what they are used for. Even though I've picked up around a dozen, my inventory shows I only have one. They were not part of the quest to take over the platform and I don't recall any quests from my original playthrough that took me back to the platform after capture that needed their collection or use.
