Could you please add the mechanic that the culture items can be connected via the road system also?, and not only via the pavement tile (it looks horrible in some cases and it also tends to keep the items close together rather than span them around the city). yeah, i know i can do this via a mod, but that is just... I want an official mechanic for this.
On GeForce Now platform, in Anno 1800, going in first person mode (CTRL+SHIFT+R), the player is unable to rotate the camera (view) at 360 degrees (can't fully make a full circle with the camera). This is possible with the game running on local machine.
Not sure this is a limitation of the GeForce Now virtual environment, as there are games where you have this possibility, thus I'm assuming is an Anno 1800 related bug, for the first-person camera mode.
As there is a new forum platform, I'm going to re-write this, just for visibility sake.
It will be great, if a season 4 will happen (not that I expect that to happen), to reintroduce in Anno 1800, the Anno 1701 independence from the Queen/Crown mechanic (sadly this was something I would have expected from Anno 1800, also being the main reason I supported the game in the first place, and sadly after 3 seasons, and quite a high number of dev support and DLCs, this is still missing) as a quest line DLC (something similar to Land of Lions DLC, but without a new session). Also it may be link, in terms of story-line, with either The Anarchist DLC (this, I think, should be more easy to implement) and/or as an aftermath of the main campaign for the New World (here, in terms of story writing and development, I think it will require an additional workload).
It may work, with some new mechanics, in which depending on how many royal taxes are being paid, the happiness of the investor class, and also the artisan/worker class and productivity of industries, is impacted, thus opening way, to an independence need, that will reduce this low happiness and productivity. Also, a new mechanic, if no independence is wanted, that will mitigate/keep under control this decrease in happiness/productivity (police station, palace department etc.) , if the Crown path is taken.
@ubi-milky A little worse after the update (FPS drop, below 20 FPS, frequent drops), where before the update, without modding, was close to 30, but not constant, with frequent drops. Also the mod seems to not work the same after the latest update, but overall better FPS than not using it. An option to disable the animation may be better, heck even an option to disable animations, overall, for the UI will work wonders, I think. But, oh well, to be honest, the minimum system requirements are a joke at this point, and I've just decided to uninstall the game from my system, as the game seems to not work.
"Reworked the handling of the animated mouse cursor which might fix some performance issues."
How about instead of "reworking" you can just add an option inside the settings to disable the animated cursor in all cases (just a simple cursor), or just get rid of the animated cursor altogether?
I'm getting worst FPS than just applying the initial mod: Mouseover FPS fix: (https://www.nexusmods.com/anno1800/mods/118)
What I'm not getting is if we'll be able to get rid of the Queen, by becoming independent in this new season. And by that, during a normal game, part of the sandbox/campaign play-through, and not as part of a scenario, that doesn't continue into a sandbox mode. If the final chapter will just be some new world residents, willing-fully work for an all mighty empire, but feeling independent at the same time, that is a "meh".
Does somebody now if that will be possible?
If not, sadly, on my side, this is a no buy, uninstall and move on. After the season 3 disappointment, I'm not willing to continue supporting the game/team, if no meaningful story is part of the final chapter.
add a standard flag/flagpole as a second option to the banners (royal banner in the cosmetics section)
something like:
@ubi-spacecats when starting playing on GeForce Now, somewhere in September, instead on my local machine, as the game locally runs awful starting with season 3. This is available for CTRL+SHIFT+R, F1 and photo mode recently (photo mode, for quests, worked great before the last game update).
Will be great to add an adjustable difficulty (1 star, 2 star, 3 star) for each AI player. Thus it will give the possibility to play with the current 3 or 2 star AI, but with an easy approach to expansion (they will not over expand).
Not sure thou, how hard this will be to implement, in terms of development workload. But as the 1 star code is there for 3 AI's, I'm assuming this should be manageable.
Or, an official "AI shipyard" (same behavior as the AI shipyard mod).

@Ubi-Nacho
Hi,
Will do, sure. This evening, after work. Thanks for looking over this.
