> I can't remember. I think it was I thought I could help.

• Did you try to complete the quest all at once, or did you leave and come back later?

> All at once, although the standing stones quest near the top of the hill got in the way and I might've done that in between doing the lame man and then attempting the blind man.

• Did fast travelling away help to get rid of the "Anonymous" prompt? Or are you still encountering this whilst doing this mystery?

> The anonymous prompt has went away but still can't interact with the blind man.

• Have you tried fast travelling away and coming back later? If so, were you still unable to proceed?

> Yes tried it, even completed a whole other region and came back but still having the same issue.

If you play on another platform (PS5/Xbox/Stadia etc), please would you be able to provide a video that shows the blind man does not follow you?

@ubiexcellent Is there any update on this? If there is a way I can give you my save from the Series X I am happy to provide that too. It's a little disappointing that there's multiple threads for this, and yet it's still not included in the known issues list or seemingly being looked into. I'm 65 hours into the game by this point knowing I'm not going to be able to get the 1000 gamerscore without restarting. Losing hope as the game has been out for over 2 months at this point...

@ubiexcellent for me, the anonymous thing only happened the first time I attempted the quest. It doesn't pop up any more. I'll make a video next time I'm on my xbox.

@khaleesi1440 didn't fix it for me unfortunately. Still seeing this issue.

@ubi-raziel One thing that may help the dev team recreate - myself and a couple of others have mentioned that the first time they interacted with the first NPC on this quest they had the "you must be anonymous" message. I eventually got rid of that but now can't interact with the second NPC at all. In my case it's the blind man I was doing second.

@griffen346 Yeah can confirm it's also still bugged for me on latest patch too... Come on Ubisoft...

@donpedropl this quest is bugged in so many ways. It bugs out no matter which order you do the NPCs in. I'm stuck with the legs guy in the water at the top, and the blind guy won't follow me or allow me to talk to him... just stays at his home shouting.

Still happening to me on 1.0.4 patch. Still not listed in "Known issues" either. What's the deal?

Logged in today to title update 1.0.4 to see if it was fixed. It's still an issue. Any update? It's still not even on the "known issues" list even though a few people have posted about it...

I've stopped playing the game until it's fixed now because I'm about 60 hours in and don't want to start a new save to get my 100% achievement.

also an additional note: it looks like the first guy I dropped in the stream is now dead

I'm also getting this bug. Can't complete the quest and I'm not 50 hours into the game so really don't feel like restarting to get the completionist achievement...

I was in the same boat but managed to get the key to appear after finishing the main Lunden storyline.
