This is probably a small gripe but it’s something I feel like it elevates the atmosphere of a game and I like soundtracks playing as I explore the world. But when I put the frequency of music to “high” there’s barely any exploration music playing in the open world, it’s all silent and just feels very static. Game is great but I think this detail brings the game down just a little bit, especially coming from the previous games soundtrack. Maybe it’s just my game I don’t know, anyone else find there’s barely any tracks playing? Playing this on the Series X btw.
It’s incredibly concerning that 4 months have passed, this bug is in the original code of the game, I get that this is one minor world event in a relatively large open world so play testers (if there even were any for this game at this point) may not have encountered this problem...however this bug is so easy to replicate, everyone I see that has issues with this bug about 80% of the time have said they went off doing something else before speaking to the pig a second time. I don’t want to presume to know anything about game development, but RIGHT there you have one of the main problems that’s causing this bug...and we are entering Spring, we’ve had a patch for bugs in December, a buggy event, another patch for January and...another buggy content drop from what I’m hearing but, again, this bug is wired into the original code of the game and it’s still not addressed, it’s a progression bug that’s preventing players from attaining full completion of the game. It sounds silly but for completionists (which is quite a lot of people these days) it’s incredibly frustrating that the priority for the game wasn’t to fix the issues that halt game progression of the base game (in this sense, attaining the respective trophy/achievement). I don’t think you should be aggressive or hostile to any of the devs but going through the list of bugs at launch of this game, if this is still the trend we are seeing in 2021 with buggy or broken games then we all seriously need to think with our heads and not our wallets before a new entry in this series comes out.
@ubi-raziel
Yes I’m playing on my Samsung UE43TU7100 series and playing on a Series X and I’m getting awful screen tearing as well
@Yesin069 When I read the patch notes about more cats being added to the game, I genuinely couldn’t believe that this was put above fixing more prominent issues like this. Barely anyone asked to add more cats to the in game world. If there isn’t a stealth fix for this bug in the patch and we’re still waiting another month for it to be sorted then moving forward I’m going to reserve purchasing future titles day one and maybe months down the line after launch. The official forum team are more active on other posts on these forums yet posts like this which arguably have the most views and replies are just being ignored. Maybe the team will have more to share and their waiting for them to respond, no idea...I’m just not about to commit another potentially 20 hours just to receive the platinum to go about the map and complete every territory again despite already logging 130+ into the game
Any updates on the progress of fixing this bug, because it’s literally the only mystery bugged which will prevent me from 100% completion (this is on PS5 btw). It’s so frustrating because little bugs like this can definitely ruin the overall experience. I get that it’s the holidays and also the festive period and we have a global pandemic on our hands ect and the updates from one of the mods has been very positive to see, it’s still a little annoying that it’s been well over a month and a half now and the bug is still blocking players from a milestone...hope to hear progress on the bug being resolved soon all the best
This is happening to me, however it won’t let me unlock
Not the Norse you’re looking for
Twinkle twinkle
Ultimate Refinement
Full Mastery
Pioneer (after 50 more hours I STILL haven’t unlocked this achievement, despite reaching and completing Vinland)
I've tried everything under the sun, I’ve made a new save file JUST to try and get these achievements but they’re not unlocking at all when I try to re do the requirements. At first I thought it was tied to me carrying my save file over from Playstation 5 but the problem still persists on a new save, and now the achievements are permanently locked and I have no idea how to achieve them now...I thought it was a Ubisoft connect issue but my internet and everything is fine, I’ve logged out, logged back in. Linked and unlinked accounts ect and still nothing. Would like to know if there will be a fix incoming for this as they’re just not unlocking now whatever I do. I have at least 112 mastery points and I still don’t have the achievements and I’ve fully upgraded about 6 armour sets and that’s not including weapons and still no achievement for that.
At this point starting a new game is the only option...but like others I don’t have the time to sink another 100+ hours for this world event...and it’s like you say there’s no guarantee you won’t run into another game breaking bug and this has been the buggiest AC since Unity (but at least Unity didn’t have progression bugs)...it’s been almost 4 months at this point and Ubi weren’t slow at fixing the Divisions PS5 patch the other day even though the game was perfectly playable but fast forward months and we still have a ton of issues in this game, progression issues, plus new ones introduced in the new update...let’s hope the paid DLC isn’t as buggy otherwise it brings the state of this games development into serious question
@Ubi-Mark Would also like to know why relatively small visual bugs and just bugs from content released later down the line are getting a hot fix but not the glaring issue that is this bug?? At this stage, bugs like this preventing progression SHOULD be given priority and constantly saying that the team are investigating just isn’t good enough, especially given that it’s been over 4 months. So what’s being said is...out of all of the developers that Ubi has under employment that not a single fix has been discovered? Or maybe even that the team hasn’t even begun to try to fix this bug? We can only guesstimate what’s going on behind the scenes because of the lack of transparency. I think we’re all owed at least an explanation as to why this bug is so hard to fix given how many months it’s been.
@ubi-borealis The team at Ubisoft need to know however that it’s not okay to go ahead and prioritise bug fixes for content (content that remarkably came out buggier than intended...what a surprise) that was released months after the game has released or add cats to a game world that genuinely didn’t need it. I get that there’s multiple areas the teams work on, but when issues/bugs that have been reported near the launch of the game (issues that do prevent overall game progression) you would think that those bugs would take priority over adding new features to the game. We’re not having a go at the player support staff because we know you can only tell us what you’ve been told, but again when it’s been THIS long and we still don’t even have the luxury of knowing why this bug has taken so long to fix...it just calls the companies competency into question. Thank you for the update, but I hope we don’t wait yet another month for this quest to be fixed
@yesin069 At this point I genuinely don’t care about the lore of this pig or the nuances of this world event If this bug is so complex then okay, but they haven’t even came out and said it, just that they are still investigating...which could honestly mean anything. When you come out with bug fixes for content released a month ago, but still haven’t addressed launch bugs or 4 months later then people really start to get annoyed.
@guest-wf0tv0ip
Maybe that’s part of the plan, give players a sense of exhaustion when they go back or start a new game to complete all of the areas again, driving them to the helix store to buy the experience boost pack. And honestly at this point I wouldn’t put it past Ubisoft. And I’m annoyed I even bought the gold edition of this game given how the games been handled so far, 2 reskinned events, a river raids expansion that’s so cut and dry with reskinned loot, adding transmog however you have to spend currency in game whereas Odyssey made you do it for free and it’s not to mention the plethora of bugs this game launched with and still has.

I'll add to what I said earlier. On my main save, like everyone else, it was just Pig of Prophecy that needed to be completed. I went back to a save that I made that only had Asgard, Jotunheim, and one of the Norway regions completed. I did every event in Cent first, starting with this stupid pig and no trophy unlocked. I continued going region by region. The trophy unlocked when it was supposed to, after completing every event in the game. Those are the two options, complete everything on the map again or wait for Ubisoft to fix it.
But you do see why people aren’t exactly thrilled about having to do this. Most people like myself didn’t even know it was bugged, and as soon as you went for completionist you’re save is already so far back that you’d have to commit however many hours to get a trophy/achievement. We’re 4 months in now and it’s still not been resolved, it’s genuinely shocking and I’m not picking this game up again until it’s fixed (at this point, given the lack of transparency from the team I don’t even think I want to anymore).

@nodeadvicky Yeah there’s been some instances where I’ve had that with some games but it’s only ever been a couple of days until they popped...this has been about 2 months now and I honestly don’t want to do another play through, it’s not my favourite Creed game and the bugs and issues like this have further exaggerated that. I will revisit when they have patched and hope that the issues are fixed

Yeah I’ve got:
full mastery
overdesign 2
skaldis hobby
home sweet home
flying Eivor
twinkle twinkle
godly reward
worthy
im genuinely being serious, in my play through at 125 hours none of these achievements have unlocked or won’t let me unlock them on my play through and I really, really don’t have the time to do another full play through of the game to get these games (don’t even know if I’m guaranteed them anyways if I do another one)
i’ve been asked by the support team to do something called port forwarding but I cannot because:
A. I have no idea how to do it
B. I don’t have a working laptop or pc in my home right now and it obviously doesn’t work through phone
C. I haven’t had these issues in any other game regarding achievement unlocks...I mean surely Ubisoft connect could be feeding the data through to Xbox to unlock the achievements??? I have no idea how this all works but I cannot complete the achievement list (or rather I can’t commit another 100 +hours potentially just to get them) plus I’m still waiting for the Pig of Prophecy bug to be fixed to earn the completionist all the way achievement but at this point, why even bother with that one when all the others aren’t unlocking!
