@ian776 It's a huge joke.
Only 3 actual "side quests" in the game, and one of them can't be completed because you can't speak to the single NPC involved.
I wonder if they broke Reda after fixing his growth spurt problems. Oh well, at least I stopped hearing "THEES ONE HAPPENED A LONG TIME AGO, AT A DESSERT O-WAY-SIS" every time I enter my settlement
@thesillypotato It really seemed non-sensical that Eivor wouldn't bring all that gear back to England as souvenirs. Even if Ubi didn't want you running around dressed like an Injun, you should have at least been allowed to keep it on display in your longhouse
"The game seems to ignore the Saxon social division of the city by the Walbrook, Britons were known to have lived to the east (Cornhill), while the Saxons toward Ludgate Hill to the West (Lundenwic)"
Well that's because Diversity is Strength, and a group of people have no right to oppose or dissent to another entire society with a different culture and religion picking up their foundations and transplanting their population into the former groups lands. And certainly nothing bad ever comes of that, for either group involved

Kinda [censored] into the wind with this complaint. You will literally murder about 4000 people in a typical playthrough of this game

The only reason to complain about Orlog is how boring it is.
You can win literally any game of Orlog by just stealing as many tokens as you can, and playing as many gold faces as you can. The actual strategy of playing particular die for each hand will just make you lose once your opponent uses their 40 God Favor tokens to do 60,000 arrow damage to you

@akira1364
"I can't imagine who exactly they had in mind as their example of a potential player of the game when they balanced all the mechanics."
Ubisoft balance their game difficulty for people who have literally never played a video game before. You'll recall in Assassin's Creed 3 that a full volley from a full squad of 8 or so musketeers at point blank range, even with about a 3 or 4 second warning, did not do enough damage to outright kill the player. Then in Syndicate they up and removed the ability to jump off a building, and ever since then, fall damage has been negligible if not outright removed
@abokov Doesn't China have a whole bunch of even more strict censorship laws? You guys aren't even allowed to see skeletons
Man, when I first read about the world events and how they were being used to not clog up your quest log...
I kinda assumed that the game would still have regular sidequests. I wouldn't even call these sidequests like you have, since most of them hardly involve moving from a single spot or making more than one dialogue choice. Obviously there are some memorable standouts, but those are the exceptions
Why would I ever sail it anywhere when even before unlocking all of the fast travel points, it's faster to get on the horse and B-line straight for my destination.
Ubisoft, please remember your "3 pillars" design philosophy from the older games, Traversal is one of them and fast travel doesn't count. Sure the longboat is immersive, but it would be much more immersive if it were also the most efficient means of travel in-game and not just in-lore (and England takes like 7 minutes to cross it's entire length by boat, so maybe just grow a pair and release a game... gasp... without fast travel)
