I've always loved AC, but this is complete BS trying to install Valhalla and having to do all sorts of research just to figure how to not have the game crash as soon as it loads up. The sole reason I re-subscribed to Ubisoft+ was to play Valhalla, and yet it's the only game that takes such an unnecessary amount of time to download, and when it does, I just end up starting from scratch and uninstalling the game.
As a player, I shouldn't have to be worried about anything other than clearing disk space to make room for a game, yet I'm having to figure out if this folder is compatible with that folder, what the properties are set to in this folder, change settings on the computer itself and not just in-game...ect...
It's not an issue with my network, it's not an issue with my drivers (literally just installed the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver), it's the fact that I shouldn't HAVE to be trying to figure all this different stuff out is what's most frustrating.
I've verified the integrity of the game folders probably 4 times now, and each time there is no problem until I load in the game, click continue story, and the game starts chopping away until it crashes when it looks like it's finally going to load in.
I'll look into again in a few months to see if the issue has actually been fixed, which it's hard to believe it's still an issue considering the amount of people that seem to have had the same issue, and countless other issues...
