Before you start bashing me, Yes the game has issues/bugs/glitches whatever you want to name it, but in my honest opinion, this game is by far GOTY, one of the best games i have ever played and deserves love, the development of a game at this massive scale during the pandemic is something to give huge credit for.
i know some are frustrated and disappointed of some game breaking bugs, but last year was hard on everyone especially when lots of studios in different countries are involved in developing this game.
i'm in my second play through with female Evior now, didnt encounter any game breaking bugs and feel sorry for people who encountered such problems and i know its kinda sucks to be patient and wait for a patch but its the only option for now unfortunately, i hope the next patch would resolve most if not all issues and people with problems get to enjoy the game as its intended.
Last, i would like to thank everyone who worked and still working on this wonderful game.
im not sure if you have done that, but you need to block the rats hole with the moveable shelves for her to move out, if you have done that already, then its a bug i guess.
i've just completed the quest couple of hours ago with no problems.
let me add my voice to this thread, i finished the game using onboard realtek audio with 5.1 surround speakers setup, the audio was ok and leveled, nothing fancy with the crappy onboard audio.
i got creative AE-5 Plus sound card recently, set encoding to Dts connect, and launched the game, audio levels are all over the place, Npcs voices are too low, background music and sea chanties are too low, evior voice is loud, special effects like when getting skill points and combat finishers are too loud, and so on.
i tried many configurations in creative command software even disabled encoding all together, but nothing helped, its all the same
@taily2020 go to the stables and equip it again.
win11 is not officially released, so if the game doesnt work on it then i'm sorry to say to not expect any support for it right now.
@w00p4 i hear you man, to be honest i'm not sure if Ubisoft is going to ever fix it and provide high quality sound files, usually from technical standpoint, they consider this as low priority or enhancement and not a major issue, so the dev team has a list of issues starting from major to enhancements to work on, with all the development work they have in addition to fixing the listed issues, i believe there will be no time to fix this.
keeping this thread alive will make no difference, this issue has been listed in the issues mega thread since release but its not acknowledged as a known issues so far, which means the dev team is not looking into it.
@theexplosiveguy agreed with every word, unfortunately the game is so bad and not fun at all, i thought New Dawn is the worst and it also got massive negative reviews, but yet they went full scale with FC6 for it to be even worse.
sadly all ubisoft games have gone this route, all fun parts are stripped from each game and lost their identities.
@yazx_ You forgot to use "In my humble opinion, ..".
so you just came here to troll kid, if u dont agree then its fine but at least learn to respect and accept other opinions.
having same issue, here is the steps to reproduce (at least what i did for it to trigger):
you will travel to Asgard and get Stuck, no Eye icon to wake up and no door to leave, please check the image below:
me personally beat the game 3 times now on PC, its so good, if you follow the story and explore regions after playing the arc in that region, you will not hit any issue, probably few minor glitches here and there. the game is huge and massive.
odyssey and origins had better support in terms of fixing issues and free content, this one takes a while when releasing a patch , yah we all understand the situation and what COVID caused, for me its a kudos for the team to release a game with such a massive scale at this period of time.
yes it will work, EPIC is unlike steam, you can download the game from either Ubiconnect or Epic, i have never let EPIC download any Ubisoft game and just go straight to Ubiconnect after activation.
@sooupper just search youtube or google for a gameplay video or article that shows the exact location
looks like the game is running on Intel iGpu, check nvidia control panel->manage 3d settings, there is an option called preferred graphics processor, set it to Nvidia and hit apply then try to run the game
@guest-udfubv3n the location of the stone is not shown on the map, you need to search for it , the stone is located upwards at the last location of the curse that you destroyed
@spirantcrayon22 i dont think so, just backup your saves before jumping in to be on the safe side

2 days ago intel announced that they solved all issues related to games and urge customers to contact them if they face any issue like this with any game, i would suggest to contact them and check if they propose a solution other than disabling E cores
@rubberduckeh AFAIK, the problem is from Denuvo DRM, alder lake cpus need games to update the implemention of Denuvo, there is an article posted by intel about this problem, only workaround for now is to disable E cores until the devs update the game. so you can try to disable E cores from bios and launch the game, if it worked then thats the main cause of your issue
@oldgregsplace this is a known issue with alder lake and games using Denuvo DRM, intel has an article of affected games, only workaround now is to disable efficient cores until devs update their Denuvo DRM implementation.
the driver crash happening here is called TDR, this happens when the game doesnt render output to the video card, thus windows resets the driver, the timeout window is 2 seconds by default.
you can increase the TDR delay from registry to 10 seconds as i did, so the game will freeze for 4-5 seconds and then continue normally instead of crashing, this is the only workaround i found for this issue
