I was thinking of a new design for the loading screen.
Crashes to window view and hangs. Nothing reported in Event Viewer and in task manager - not responding.
I would imagine with each crash there is more chance of corrupting files and the situation getting worse.
It's a faulty product!
Unplayable!
Likewise I have been experiencing the slow startup and choppy/low frame-rates. Currently trying to re-run the first two manhunts and the game is unplayable, crashing only a minute or two after play. The last crash, was mid-traveling to the bounty target on the map.
I have removed the shader cache folder and verified game files, but this makes no difference.
The game is bugged. The out of the ordinary low choppy frame rates seem to me to be an indicator of that — not good!
Killed two rogues on Floor 11 by the skin of my teeth
@V4MPiR1 Thanks for the good advice
@AgentOfDread
> +50% Pulse Resistance from Specialization, +40% Pulse Resistance from 3-Piece System Corruption, and get the rest from Pulse Resistance Mods. Boom, you just removed all of their damage.
According to this video, that doesn't remove stacking with head shots, even with 130% pulse resistance.
Just to add, experiencing the same issues. Dell laptop i7 9750h 1660ti, turbo boost disabled, max temps 70c.
I have tried various things, updated bios, updated drivers, I have tried various nvidia drivers and run various stress tests successfully, have verified files, uninstalled the game completely, downloaded and installed again — I'm still experiencing crashes.
The jeopardy should be can I survive to the end of the mission, not will it crash before I get there!
Used to be absolutely solid, but is now unplayable.
The fact so many here are reporting these issues and over a recent period of time I would say is indicative that it's not a hardware issue.
@v4mpir1 I've been avoiding going back to the summit, couldn't stomach it. The hunters I did on a couple of masks. This really is joyless lol. Will give it a whirl though, thanks for the feedback:)
As per the title. Only need to kill two rogue agents to complete the ridgeway's pride project.
Ordinarily on heroic they spawn what every 4 to 6 control points. Have been running control points all day in New York and Washington and nothing.
Have tried the Bank headquarters on Heroic, clearing the lobby and onto the next room repeatedly (what 30-40 times) again nothing.
Have gone to the food bank safehouse repeatedly — just outside — on two occasions had the message 'Rogue Agent detected', ominous music starts and again nothing.
Have spent more time trying to find rogue agents than on the whole rest of the task.
Is this a bug?
Thanks
For me stability hasn't been as bad as it was — still slow game load. Have everything set to lowest settings, gpu/cpu throttled etc.
What is bad for me though is choppy frame rates and overall lag — considering I am on lowest settings.
I have npc's popping in and out of position, bullet fire not registering any damage and occasionally the gun not firing at all. Also when picking up drops, 'v key', 'v key' there is a noticeable delay in processing that.
The game needs a fix, and checking here regularly for news regarding that.
I don't think he's shooting through walls. It looks like a latency issue and not a cheat/hack. I know, it looks weird from your perspective. But from his view you're probably standing directly infront of him.
I think you may have a point. There are times where my first reaction is to want to cry, 'cheat', but with experiencing similar in PVE have come to the same conclusion.
Often I will fire a full mag into the side of a rogue's head, stood at two o'clock to them and nothing. They are firing way off into the distance, and I am down — I'm convinced I am firing at ghosts.
There are definitely plenty of cheats about though.
Load times better for me, framerates are better, note I did roll-back a few weeks ago to 511.69 drivers. Did experience a major slow down where my character almost ground to a halt, and have experienced a couple of crashes.
Dare I say though, maybe a step in the right direction?
@imagine_brata Outside of the Scorpio and ACS-12, I'm clueless when it comes to shotguns. Just checked my stash, and will have to look out for an m870. Thanks for tip.

Initially thought guardians was a nightmare.
Have been playing challenging open world and heroic control points, and it's a lot of fun. Running with the defacto hunter's fury, intimidate, memento (dropped in an exotic cache yesterday :)), lady death and it's almost a speed run.
Wasn't aware of the melee attack option before yesterday. With the heroic control points find it best to lure the npc away from the group first before melee and downing them.
I get that hit registering issue constantly. May as well send the bullets to the NPC in the post.

I wanted to post a link to an excellent medium article on the 'Broken window theory', but against forum policy. Google 'coding the broken window theory' and I'm hazarding a guess that this issue is a contributing factor.
Just learnt the Spanish for 'Lab Monkey' — 'un mono de laboratorio'
